IN HOME TRAINING For Puppies 8 weeks to 6 months old and Existing Clients only

I know puppies. Like really really REALLY know them. I’ve raised over 10 puppies thus far and it is my most favourite stage. Hire me, Amanda, to answer all of your puppy questions, keep you on the right track or change the trajectory if it’s headed in the wrong direction. Let’s give your puppy the best head start!

Here’s how it works:

Amanda will come to your house (local to Dawson Creek BC) and help troubleshoot your puppy problems. From house training, biting, chewing your stuff, over excitement, shyness, barking, and on and on and on…sessions are booked for one hour and the rate is per hour. If the session goes beyond the hour, client will pay for the overages.

Cost: $50/hour

seasonal group training

Spring and Summer months, you’ll have the opportunity to work with Amanda in a group setting learning one skill at a time like teaching your dog recall, place, loose leash walking, and more! Follow along on social media or sign up to the newsletter to stay up to date on these offers!

Our experience with Amanda was perfect! We touched base with her when we adopted a special-needs pup, Jessie, who has Cerebellar Hyperplasia. If it weren’t for working with Amanda, our rescue pup Kevin might not still be with us in our home.   • Yes! Dogs are adaptable and your dog is a great example of one size doesn’t fit all. Just because one method didn’t work, doesn’t mean another won’t. I would love to help.

  • Great question! Many trainers roll into a session with a plan, tools, and one method. The Dog Intuitive hears what your needs are, gets a feel for your dog (and its learning style) by observing and working with them in your home. We don't whisper, we listen.

  • It's super important our clients know we don't subscribe to any camp. I meet dogs where they're at and figure out ways to teach the humans how to achieve their goals. We reward behaviours we like, and interrupt behaviours we don't, but always acknowledge your dog's point of view.

  • Your dog is an individual so you train until. But if you're finding one technique isn't getting the results you desire, then it may be time to pivot.

  • You need to be motivated to work on you and your dog's relationship - and that may mean changing some household habits. As for your dog? They're fine!

  • Reach out anyways and let's make a plan for you to visit us!

  • Remember that your dog is not born knowing your expectations - so be patient and kind while teaching them.
